Built of heavy 14 gauge steel, the Solar Feeder 1000 holds 1,000 lbs. of grain and will feed approximately 10 full-grown cattle and can also feed deer. Stability pegs at each corner secure your feeder after set up. The feeder is 6’10” tall and 72” square (add 3” for leg supports when planning for delivery).

An easy to use electronic timer allows automatic programming of amounts and time of feedings. A 12 volt battery system that is charged by the solar panel ensures reliable delivery in any weather. An optional agitating motor kit can be added for sticky feeds. 

Highway reflectors help ensure safe towing. The SF 1000 has a standard 2″,2 5/16″ or farm hitch. A sturdy feed shutoff handle prevents loss of feed in transit and the removable tongue protects you from theft when you are not in the pasture.








SF 1000G for sheep and goats has guards to prevent goats from climbing on the feed trough. The 1000G is 6’7” tall and 72” x 72” square, but you will need to add 3” for leg supports when planning for delivery. The 1000G is made of tough 14 gauge steel. It is equipped with highway reflectors to ensure highway-safe transport, and a sturdy feed shut-off handle that prevents feed from spilling during transit. A removable tongue protects you from theft when you are not in the pasture. The 1000G uses a standard 2″, 2 5/16″ or farm hitch.

A 12 volt battery system with a solar panel keeps charging your battery and delivering feed to your sheep and goats automatically, and in any weather. An optional add-on agitating motor kit can be added for sticky feeds. 








The SF 2500 is our most popular model; it is made of heavy 12 gauge steel and is tough enough to feed 18 to 20 full-grown cattle and can also feed deer. This model is also rugged enough for tough bulls or buffalo. It has 2,500 lb. capacity in a 96” x 96” square frame, which equates to approximately 32 linear feet of trough space. The SF 2500 is 8’1” tall, but you will need to add 3” for leg supports when planning for delivery. The programmable timer and adjustable spinning plate allow you to set the amount of time and feed dispensed during feeding period. And a 12 volt battery system recharged by a solar panel ensures that the feeder never runs out of power, which means your livestock are always fed on time. Highway lighting and removable tongue are standard with a 2” ball to ensure safe highway towing. A Clovis hitch is available on request. A feed shut-off handle – included on all SF models – is included to ensure that feed is not lost in transit from the feed store to your pasture and the removable tongue protects you from theft when you are not in the pasture.



If you don’t intend on hauling your feeder to your local Coop, then the new Solar Feeder 3000 may be right for you! It’s our newest addition to the Solar Feeders family of products.  It’s a skidded model, made of aluminized 12 and 14 gauge steel for better weather resistance and animal health.  It uses the same technology as the Solar Feeder 2500 without the expense of tires, wheels and axles. It is tough enough to feed 18 to 20 full-grown cattle. It has 3,000 lb. capacity in a 96” x 96” square frame, which equates to approximately 32 linear feet of trough space.

The SF 3000 is 8’1” tall and uses a canvas top that can be rolled back for filling. The same canvas top used on grain trucks and hoppers. Durable and weather tight to protect your feed. The programmable timer and adjustable spinning plate allow you to set the amount of time and feed dispensed during feeding period. And a 12 volt battery system recharged by a solar panel ensures that the feeder never runs out of power, which means your livestock are always fed on time. An optional agitating motor kit can be added for sticky feeds.

The SF 6000 will feed up to 40 full-grown cattle and can also feed deer. It is 16′ long and 8′ wide, providing 48′ of trough space. SF 6000 is made of heavy 12 gauge steel and includes 2 synchronized spinner (feed) plates and motors.Control or limit individual spinners with the individual spinner on/off switch. Each spinner has 3.5” of adjustment space to accommodate for different sizes and volumes of feed per second. Electric trailer brakes and highway lighting make the SF 6000 safe for highway towing. Tandem axle and a choice of 2″, 2 5/16″, farm hitch, or gooseneck hitch are available with this model. Each spinner has a feed shut-off handle to limit feed loss during transport or to limit the amount of feed reaching the trough (for when you are feeding fewer than the intended number of animals at one time).

A programmable timer controls the time and amount of feeding. A 12 volt battery powers the SF 6000, and the battery is recharged by a solar panel. For sticky feeds, an optional agitating motor kit can be added for each spinner.​​
